A note from Anthony

For most of my early life I lived inside a story I had not written. The breath is what gave me a pen. Before I was twenty, I had found my way to conscious breathing, and I have spent the more than fifty years since following where it leads.

I have watched this work meet people in boardrooms and classrooms and in the hardest hours of their lives. And I have watched a particular kind of person arrive at our door: someone who has read the books, taken the courses, sat in the circles, and felt a quiet certainty that they are meant to offer this to others. If that is you, I want you to know the feeling is not a mistake.

Some of this work asks for a room, a fire, a circle breathing the same air. That is what the residential is for. Twenty-one days at ASHA, with our trainers beside you, learning this the only way it can truly be learned: by living it. Come and breathe with us.

The quiet ache

You can feel the calling. You are just not sure you are allowed to answer it.

You have done the online courses and the weekend workshops. You have breathed yourself through things you could not name. And somewhere in all of it, a thought arrived and would not leave: maybe I am meant to do this work.

Then the second voice arrives. You are not qualified enough. Not experienced enough. Not the type. You tell yourself you will wait until you are ready, and the years keep their quiet count. Online study took you a long way, then it set you down at a threshold it could not carry you across.

The threshold is real. So is the way through. That is what this training is for.

What this training is

Not a retreat. A real, credible path to facilitation.

This is a four-month accelerated Breathwork Facilitator Training. It opens with twenty-one days of live, in-person learning at ASHA in Tuscany, where you breathe the practice daily and learn to hold it for others. It continues for roughly three months online, with mentorship, study, and continued support, until you graduate fully certified.

You will not leave with a feel-good weekend and a certificate to match. You will leave able to guide individual and group sessions, grounded in ethics, anatomy, and lived practice, carrying a certification that is recognized across the breathwork field.

The immersion

21 days live at ASHA, Tuscany

Hands-on, in-person training in a small circle, breathing and facilitating daily under close supervision.

~3 months of online study and mentorship

Your learning settles into practice with continued teaching, mentorship, and the support of your circle.

Why this one

What makes the residential different.

Plenty of trainings teach about breathwork. This one asks you to live it, in a place and a circle built for depth.

i.

Live, in-depth learning

Twenty-one days in the room, breathing and facilitating daily, learning the things the body only learns in person.

ii.

A small, intimate group

Places are kept few on purpose, so every participant is seen, supported, and given real time on their hands.

iii.

A Tuscan sanctuary

Forests, vineyards, a pool, and wild hot springs nearby. The land at ASHA is part of the teaching.

iv.

A comprehensive curriculum

Conscious Connected Breathing, the Mandala Breath, the anatomy of breath, and neuroscience woven with ancient wisdom.

v.

Globally recognized certification

A professional, ethically grounded qualification, triple accredited and respected across the breathwork field.

vi.

A lifelong community

You graduate into the Alchemy of Breath community, and the bonds formed in the circle tend to last far beyond it.

Your journey to mastery

Three movements, one path to certification.

1
Sept 27 – Oct 17, 2026

Twenty-one days live at ASHA

Immersive, hands-on days in the Tuscan hills, where the practice becomes part of you and you begin to facilitate.

2
The months that follow

Online study and mentorship

Roughly three months of continued learning, supervised practice, and support from the team and your circle.

3
Graduation

Certified breathwork facilitator

You graduate ready to guide, in person and online, with a globally recognized certification behind you.

What you will come to know

Not modules and weeks. Days together in a held space.

You learn this work by living it, morning to evening, with your trainers beside you the whole way.

i.

Conscious Connected Breathing

Learn the Mandala Breath in its fullest form, by breathing it daily and feeling where it carries you.

ii.

Holding a session

Guide breathwork for individuals and for the group, hands-on, under the close supervision of your trainers.

iii.

The anatomy of breath

How breath moves through body and mind, and how to meet the emotion and memory it can release.

iv.

Science and older wisdom

Modern neuroscience woven with traditional healing methods, held within one trauma-informed system.

v.

Your own self-healing

A deep personal clearing comes first. You cannot guide others somewhere you have not been yourself.

vi.

Ethical, certified practice

Graduate as an ethically grounded, globally recognized Alchemy of Breath facilitator.

You cannot lead another person anywhere you have not been willing to go yourself. So we start with you.

A personal message from Anthony

If you are wondering whether you belong here, read this first.

I have sat with thousands of people at the start of this work, and the doubt is almost always the same. They worry they have not done enough, or healed enough, or that everyone else in the circle will somehow be further along.

Here is what I have learned. The ones who become the finest facilitators are rarely the most polished when they arrive. They are the ones willing to be honest, to go first into their own depths, and to be held while they do it. That can be taught. That is what these twenty-one days are for.

You do not need to be ready in the way you imagine. You need to be willing. If something in you has been leaning toward this for a while, let us simply talk. No pressure, no performance. Just an honest conversation about where you are and where you might go.

Rest is part of the work

ASHA, a sanctuary in the Tuscan hills.

The residential is held at ASHA Retreat & Community Centre in Tuscany, Italy, surrounded by forests, vineyards, and a thriving garden. Twenty-one days is intensive, so the days are built with real rest and integration woven through them. The land itself, an environment of deep peace and natural beauty, is part of the teaching.

There is time by the pool, time to walk to the wild hot springs at Bagni San Filippo nearby, and time to wander the medieval streets of the towns close by. You arrive to learn. You also get to be nourished while you do.

  • Forests, vineyards, and gardens to walk and sit in between sessions
  • The pool, and the natural hot springs of Bagni San Filippo nearby
  • Medieval hill towns and Etruscan history within easy reach
  • A supportive, nurturing container, with the circle together throughout

Questions, gently

A few honest answers.

General
Is this a real, credible facilitator training, or essentially a retreat?+

It is a full facilitator training. Over four months, you learn to guide breathwork for individuals and groups, grounded in anatomy, ethics, neuroscience, and supervised practice. You graduate with a triple accredited, globally recognized Alchemy of Breath certification, not a weekend certificate. The residential setting in Tuscany is the container for the learning, not the point of it.

I do not have much experience. Am I experienced enough to belong here?+

You are welcome exactly where you are. The people who thrive here are not the most polished on arrival, they are the most willing. You will be held and supported from your very first session, in a small group built for close attention. If you are unsure about readiness, that is one of the things the discovery call is for.

How long is the training, and how is it structured?+

It is a four-month accelerated training. It opens with twenty-one days live and residential at ASHA in Tuscany, then continues for roughly three months online with study, mentorship, and continued support, until you graduate as a certified facilitator.

When are the dates?+

The next live residential runs September 27 to October 17, 2026. The residential is offered twice a year, in spring and autumn. [The spring 2026 residential, May 10 to 30, has already taken place. Please confirm the next spring date, likely 2027, so we can list it here.]

Is the certification globally recognized?+

Yes. The training is triple accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and Alchemy of Breath is a member of the International Breathwork Foundation. Your certification is recognized internationally and lets you practice both in person and online.

Can I really leave my life for three weeks to travel to Italy?+

Many people ask this, and most find that stepping fully out of ordinary life is exactly what makes the work possible. Twenty-one undivided days, away from the noise, held in one place, is the gift, not the obstacle. We are glad to help you think through the practicalities on your call.

What does the discovery call cover?+

It is an honest, no-pressure conversation, usually around thirty minutes. We learn where you are and what is calling you, answer your questions about the training, the dates, the certification, and the investment, and help you sense whether this is the right step. You leave with clarity, whatever you decide.

Is there a daily schedule, and can I leave early or arrive late?+

The days are full and intentionally structured, with teaching, practice, and rest woven through them, and the group stays together throughout. [Please confirm the daily schedule outline and the policy on arriving late or leaving early for this 21-day residential, so we can answer this accurately.]

What is the refund policy?+

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover any unforeseen change in your plans. [Please confirm the exact deposit, refund, and transfer policy for the residential facilitator training before publishing, as the current live page reuses BreathCamp wording.]

Accommodation
Where will I stay, and what are the room options?+

All participants stay on-site at ASHA, so the circle stays together throughout the residential. [Please confirm the room types offered, what each includes, and pricing, so we can list shared and private options here.]

Are meals included?+

Nourishing meals are provided on-site at ASHA throughout the residential. [Please confirm exactly which meals are included with room and board, and whether anything is arranged separately.]

Can my dietary needs be met?+

We do our best to accommodate most dietary requirements. Please share yours on your intake form once you enroll, so the ASHA kitchen can prepare for you. There is also a small shop in the nearby village for any specialty items you prefer to bring yourself.

Can I bring my partner?+

The residential is an intensive training in a small, held circle, so the days are reserved for participants. [Please confirm whether a non-participating partner can stay nearby or on-site, and any cost, so we can answer this clearly.]

Can I bring my pet?+

[Please confirm the pet policy at ASHA for the residential. Most residential trainings cannot accommodate pets, but we should state the actual policy.]

Is there wifi?+

There is wifi at ASHA. Part of the value of the residential is stepping back from the everyday, so we gently encourage you to stay as present as you can while you are here. [Please confirm wifi coverage and any limits across the site.]

What should I bring?+

Comfortable layers for variable Tuscan weather, a journal, and anything that helps you feel at home in your body. A full preparation guide arrives in your inbox as your dates approach. [Please confirm the official packing list, including whether mats and blankets are provided.]

Well-being sessions
Are well-being or bodywork sessions available during the residential?+

Rest and integration are built into the residential, and ASHA is a nurturing place to be cared for while you do deep work. [Please confirm whether optional well-being sessions, such as massage or bodywork, are offered during the 21-day facilitator training, and how they are booked and priced. The current live page may be carrying this section over from BreathCamp.]

How do I book a well-being session, and is there a cost?+

[Pending the answer above: if optional sessions are offered, confirm how participants book them, who provides them, and the cost, so we can give a clear answer here.]

Travel and getting to ASHA
Which airport should I fly into?+

Most participants fly into Rome Fiumicino (FCO). From there you can reach ASHA by car, train, or a pre-arranged taxi. Full travel notes are sent once you are enrolled.

Should I rent a car or take the train?+

Renting a car is the most flexible option and makes it easy to reach the nearby towns and hot springs on rest time. If you prefer not to drive, take the train toward Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, the nearest station, and arrange onward transport from there. Many participants share rides through the group chat you join after enrolling.

How do I get from the train station to ASHA?+

From Chiusi-Chianciano Terme you can arrange a local taxi to ASHA. Il Postalino is the local taxi service many of our participants use. We will share the booking details and current guidance in your travel notes once you are signed up.

Do you help coordinate travel between participants?+

Yes. Once you enroll, you join a group chat where participants coordinate shared rides from Rome and from the train station, so arrivals are easier and you meet a few faces before you even reach the land.
